Manually configuring your Cisco SPA phone to your Dial 9 extension

To manually set up your Cisco SPA device you will need access to the Dial 9 Portal to get the extension login details and the Cisco web ui to enter the details.

How to access the web configuration utility on Cisco SPA phones

You will need the IP address for the phone that you are trying to configure, this can be found if you press the Setup button, enter 110, then press #.

• Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the phone in the address bar, then press Enter.

• Enter the username of the device in the Username field. The default username is admin.

• Enter the password of the device in the Password field. The default password is admin.

SIP account configuration

Under Ext 1 please enter the following:

• Proxy: - sip.dial9.co.uk
• Display Name: - Enter the name that you want to use to identify your account. This name typically is used as your Caller ID name.
• User ID: - Enter the extension username.
• Password: - Enter the extension password.
• Dial Plan: - *xx*xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx|xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Click Submit to save your settings.
