Preset Rules
Within the Dial 9 Portal you have the ability to enable or disable Presets on a time-based schedule with the use of Preset Rules. This can be useful if you want to close your office for an extended period such as Christmas, Easter or a bank holiday.
If you are not familiar with the process for logging into the Dial 9 Portal a guide can be found Here.
Simply head to Call routing > Preset rules where you will see any existing rules and the option to create a new rule.
Creating a new rule
If you select to create a new rule you will be asked to give the rule a name, select the date and time for the rule to run and also select the presets that you wish to enable or disable.
Once you are happy with the configuration press Save at the bottom of the page.
If you require a preset to be enabled at one point in time and disabled automatically at another point you will need to create two rules. One rule would be used to enable the preset and the other to disable the preset.
Editing a rule
To edit a rule you would just select the rule name or the magnifying glass to the right. You would then make any required changes and press Save at the bottom of the screen.
