Call issues with Sky Hub 6
We're aware of an issue that has affected several customers using the Sky Hub 6. This issue usually results in being unable to make or receive calls from devices connecting to the same network as the hub.
The problem appears to be as a result of the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) size of 1500 bytes being exceeded due to some settings that are deployed to the hub - which causes timeouts during call establishment due to the necessary packets being lost in transit to our network.
Sky are aware of this and via the following post on their forum, customers can request that changes are made remotely to their hub configuration, which is known to resolve the problem.
If you have experienced this issue with the Hub 6 and are still having problems after going through the process above, please get in touch with our support team.
